Homosexuality: Born This Way or a Lifestyle
I do not believe that ALL people are born gay but I do believe there are a few. As a christian I never used to believe that people were born gay at all. But as I think back to some of the people I know who are gay, some of them were this way as children! We can always pick out the "different" individual(s). I'm sure they didn't want to be this way. I mean, seriously, who would set themselves up for that type of discrimination?
Now I do have a problem with the homosexual "lifestyle". You chose this. You are doing this of your own free will and I do take offense to this.
God gives us all free will and we will be tempted and go through trials and tribulations. It's up to US to fight temptation and get stronger by going through our daily life struggles and keeping God first.
Even though the bible calls homosexuality an abomination; it is still sin! AND EVERYONE SINS EVERYDAY-christians as well!!! He who has not sinned, cast the first stone-Jesus' words! Remember we are only HUMAN. That's why we are always to ask Him for forgiveness. ONCE YOU ASK FOR FORGIVENESS YOU ARE FORGIVEN! YOU BECOME BRAND NEW AGAIN. THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF GOD.
We all have to stand before God one day and be held accountable for the way we led our lives. Therefore, I do not judge--only God can do that. I don't have a heaven or hell to put anyone in. Just my thoughts and beliefs on the subject.

Thanks for your comment on my site. Interesting take on homosexuality - I appreciate the fact that you aren't judgmental, but still have an opinion on the matter. If only more people could arrive at a similar conclusion - that it isn't our decision to make! Very cool blog...keep up the great work!

Wow, I had the same exact view of gays. I generalized them as being gay by choice and it was also partly due to my own faith.
However, I have learned that there are indeed some who are born gay. They're gay even before they hit puberty, which proves that not all gay opeople are gay by choice. Excellent post!
We live and learn. This is why WE are not in charge! Thank God :)

Once again i must applaud you on your blog. You keep it so real. Well where i come from gays arent that in the open like in the US or any European country but wat i believe is that, how one choses to live their lives is entirely upto them besides wat happens in the privacy of closed doors is non of my business
